Position Overview
Rainbow Restoration is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Restoration Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting losses, preparing accurate estimates, and working closely with homeowners, insurers, and internal project teams to ensure restoration projects are completed efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect residential and commercial restoration losses (water, fire, mold, asbestos, and contents)
- Prepare detailed and accurate estimates using Xactimate
- Scope damages and identify required repairs and mitigation work
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, tenants, adjusters, and project managers
- Ensure estimates align with insurance guidelines and company standards
- Assist with documentation, reports, photos, and job files
- Support project timelines and assist with change orders as required
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in restoration estimating
- Proficiency in Xactimate (required)
- Knowledge of insurance restoration processes
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple files
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Experience
- Water, fire, mold, or asbestos restoration background
- IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, FSRT, etc.) considered an asset
